Over the Christmas Holiday I have came to the conclusion that there are people or things that keep getting in my way. Of what? you may ask, well of me getting where I wish to go of course!

I spend as much time trying to get the word out about websites as I do working on them. I think thats just wrong because it leaves me no time to work on the important things like my blog. Yes, I do spend a good amount of my blog time just going to other peoples blogs for a good read. I like to read what others have to say, that is not a crime at this time, but it tends to be counter productive. Oops, I got a bit off topic there but I’m back now.

I have been looking for a way to increase my income by spending some time at Money-How-To.com it is a collection of articles on everything from adsence to website traffic, its still under construction, but has good information. The one thing that I have learned is that you can lead, follow or just sit there doing nothing. I think that I have been doing a lot of the latter for about the last week or so. This kind of explained why the websites that I work on have been suffering even though I thought I was being diligent with my care. It just goes to show that I can be as guilty as the next guy when it comes to information overload.

Information Overload: This is a condition where you spend so much time reading what you should be doing that NOTHING gets done. I’m sure that everyone has had this problem before and most, like myself, never new it.

OK gang this is my tip for the day: Don’t over think things do something even if its not exactly right!

She Has Had a Hard Day

I spend a lot of time trying to make people NOT just follow the crowd but instead think for them selves. If I cause one person to question the main stream than I have done my job well. The down side is that I myself seem to be becoming part of the main stream, in some ways. Now don’t get me wrong I still only believe about half of what I hear and none of what I see, but with that becoming popular am I main stream? I don’t think so but what do I know. This morning I got up looked outside to see a foggy and dismal day. The baby was crying, the boys where arguing and all I could think of was that it really is a beautiful day. Before you think that I must have good drugs lets take a close look from my point of view.

The fog was soothing the world in a cloud of almost cotton candy like we are a thousand miles above all the problems of the day. The gray of the fall morning just intensified to the bright green and yellow of the fall leaves. It is a wonderful sight to see if you look at it in the right way.

The baby was crying because she needed some love and attention from her daddy, the feeling that a child loves you should be bottled and give away for all to enjoy. As far as the boys arguing well it has been my experience that brothers that love each other seem to fight the most.

YES it is the start of a beautiful day from my view point, how about yours? Do you only see doom and gloom on the horizon or are you willing to see things in a new way? After all this day will only come once in a life time and it is just as easy to see the good things as it is the bad, it just takes practice.
