By accident or by design, the Presidential candidates are deceiving the American people. I do in fact say, that both candidates are playing up what they will and won’t do in such a way as to confuse the American

Health Care
They both swagger around saying that they are going to spend or save money on health care, but in fact they can do nothing more than make suggestions as to what they would like to see happen. They can’t change ANYTHING as per the constitution, article 2, section 2 if I remember right.

Energy crises
Both of the candidates have some fine points, although different views on some parts of the solution. But both candidates are forgetting that the president has NO power to make a change with out the backing of the house and or senate. That’s where the real power is. Again they can only suggest what they want to see happen.

Foreign Polices
Now here is where the President really shines. He/She is our Representative to the world, and yes that is part constitution. Both of the candidates seem to gloss over foreign police a bit, for reasons only known to them, but in fact that is one of the important jobs of the president.

The bottom line is that the American people are being miss-led or just misinformed as to what The President can and cant do. I feel that their entire campaign strategies would change if the people would remember to read the constitution at least once every four years. Just so there is no misunderstanding, I have not read it in several years and most people have never seen it at all. Speaking of the Constitution is it something that they teach in school or has it been banned as radical writings? Do the children know what the Constitution is and what it stands for, or is glossed over as an out of date piece of paper? There are future voters that have no idea how America is ran and no one seems to care except the extreme right or left and they try to sway us with emotion, not fact. I could go on for days but my question is WHY?
