Over the Christmas Holiday I have came to the conclusion that there are people or things that keep getting in my way. Of what? you may ask, well of me getting where I wish to go of course!
I spend as much time trying to get the word out about websites as I do working on them. I think thats just wrong because it leaves me no time to work on the important things like my blog. Yes, I do spend a good amount of my blog time just going to other peoples blogs for a good read. I like to read what others have to say, that is not a crime at this time, but it tends to be counter productive. Oops, I got a bit off topic there but I’m back now.
I have been looking for a way to increase my income by spending some time at Money-How-To.com it is a collection of articles on everything from adsence to website traffic, its still under construction, but has good information. The one thing that I have learned is that you can lead, follow or just sit there doing nothing. I think that I have been doing a lot of the latter for about the last week or so. This kind of explained why the websites that I work on have been suffering even though I thought I was being diligent with my care. It just goes to show that I can be as guilty as the next guy when it comes to information overload.
Information Overload: This is a condition where you spend so much time reading what you should be doing that NOTHING gets done. I’m sure that everyone has had this problem before and most, like myself, never new it.
OK gang this is my tip for the day: Don’t over think things do something even if its not exactly right!

Throw a few more kbs on the bandwidth it looks like winter on the Internet! I live in Eugene Oregon and it seems that winter has arrived with snow and ice. The temperature is 24 degrees with a wind that will bite your nose off. Just for the record YES I know that others have it much worse than we do and my heart goes out to them, they should be in all our prayers. I will be the first to admit it over the years I have became a wimp as far as the weather is concerned. After 20 some odd years working outside I find myself not really wanting to be out in the snow. I will, when the snow is better, go out to build a snowman with the kids.
You know I find something appealing about being in a semi warm , (I turned the heat down to help cut the power bill), house looking at the snow in the distance. Maybe it brings back some feelings of childhood that have almost been forgotten or its just that I’m glad not to be out in it, but who knows.

I will spare you grime and boring details that compelled me to write this and just get to the heart of the subject.
My sons are always posing the question” wouldn’t it be great if you could go back and forth in time?”, for some reason at there young age they think it would be nice to correct mistakes they have made, just a footnote about my sons at the time of this posting they are ten and eight years of age. I of course tell them that time travel is not legal and is ill advised at best, being a reasonable and moderately educated individual, this seems to be enough to all but kill the subject at hand and they quickly move on to something else being children of limited attention spans.
Waite a minute you are probably saying “you think that time travel is possible?” why yes I do think that going back in time is possible if not probable. As for going forward well that is just absurd. How can you go to an event or “Time” that has yet to happen? If one where to go back on a time line or a shadow of a past event why is that so absurd to believe that this is not possible? But here come the fun part. If you where to go back in time to observe an event, become a face in the crowd, are you in fact becoming part of the event or have you just changed things by overlapping two time lines so the event may not even exist?
Sorry about that but some times I am distracted by my own rambling. Getting back to my boys some time I have to wonder if they are going to grow up with some kind of label just because of the things that I believe? I guess that that is the price I pay for not just being a sheep and following the thoughts of the majority.
